Achieve 90+ Core Web Vitals with zero jQuery bloat, Web Components, automated aspect ratios, keyboard focus trapping, and ARIA compliance.
9. Speed Optimization & Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Performance and accessibility are core architectural pillars of Novakrift 2.0.
9.1 Image Optimization & Aspect Ratio Guidelines
- Zero dependency on external frameworks (0 jQuery, 0 Lodash). Built using 100% native Vanilla Web Components.
- Automatic responsive `srcset` output via Shopify CDN filters.
- Aspect ratio preservation (3:4, 7:9, 1:1) prevents Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS score: 0.00).
- Critical LCP image eager loading (`fetchpriority="high"`).
9.2 Keyboard Navigation & ARIA Compliance Checklist
- Fully compliant with **WCAG 2.1 Level AA** standard.
- Complete keyboard navigation support (`Tab`, `Enter`, `Space`, `Escape`).
- Focus trapping in modals and drawer elements with accessible `aria-expanded`, `aria-label`, and `role="dialog"` attributes.
